Government Contracts

All contracts made by the Government of Nepal shall be expressed as made in the name of the Government of Nepal. Executive authority extends to making contracts.

All government contracts — construction projects, service agreements, procurement deals — must be formally made in the name of \'Government of Nepal.\' This isn\'t just bureaucracy; it means contracts are the state\'s obligation, not any individual minister\'s. When governments change, contracts survive because they\'re bound to the institution, not the person.
