Royal Properties

All properties of the former royal family that are state properties shall be nationalized. The Government shall manage former royal palaces, land, and assets.

When Nepal became a republic in 2008, the king\'s properties became the nation\'s. This article formalizes that: royal palaces (like Narayanhiti, now a museum), royal forests, crown land — all nationalized. The former royal family retains only personal (non-state) property. This is a permanent break from monarchy.
