No person who is arrested or detained shall be subjected to physical or mental torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment. Any such act is punishable and victims have right to compensation.

If you are arrested or detained, no one can beat you, torture you, or treat you cruelly - physically or mentally. If anyone does, they can be prosecuted AND you can claim compensation from the state.
