Provincial Ordinance
When the Provincial Assembly is not in session, the Provincial Chief may promulgate an Ordinance on recommendation of the Provincial Council of Ministers. It must be tabled in the Assembly within 60 days.
When the Provincial Assembly is on recess, the Governor can issue temporary laws (ordinances) on the CM\'s recommendation — just like the President does at the federal level. But it\'s temporary: the ordinance must go before the assembly within 60 days and get approved, or it dies. Same emergency lawmaking mechanism, same safeguards.
प्रदेश सभा अधिवेशनमा नरहँदा प्रदेश प्रमुखले अध्यादेश जारी गर्न सक्छन् — ६० दिनभित्र सभामा पेश गर्नुपर्छ।
Provides legislative flexibility between provincial assembly sessions.
Ordinance power can be misused to bypass assembly debate on controversial provincial policies.
