Expenditures Chargeable on Consolidated Fund
Certain expenditures are directly charged on the Federal Consolidated Fund without needing annual parliamentary vote, including the President\'s remuneration, Chief Justice\'s salary, public debt servicing, and Auditor General\'s expenses.
Some expenses are so important they\'re paid automatically — no annual vote needed. These include: the President\'s salary, Supreme Court judges\' salaries, loan repayments, and the Auditor General\'s office costs. Why? So that no government can threaten judges or auditors by cutting their pay for political reasons.
