CIAA Jurisdiction
The CIAA has jurisdiction over all public officials from the PM down to ward-level officers. It can investigate corruption, abuse of authority, and improper conduct. It can file cases in the Special Court.
The CIAA can investigate ANYONE holding public office — from the Prime Minister to the lowest ward secretary. Its jurisdiction covers: bribery, corruption, abuse of authority, accumulation of illegal wealth, and nepotism. After investigation, the CIAA files cases in the Special Court. No public official is above the CIAA\'s reach — this was RSP\'s key campaign promise: \'We will strengthen the CIAA.\'
