Citizenship by Birth

Original Text
A person who has been domiciled in Nepal at the time of commencement of this Constitution shall be a citizen of Nepal by birth.
💡 Plain Language Explanation
If you were living in Nepal when the Constitution started (Sept 20, 2015), you are a citizen by birth. This protects long-term residents who might lack documentation.
