Local Judicial Committee
Each local government shall have a Judicial Committee to settle disputes at the local level. The committee handles minor civil disputes, mediation, and cases specified by law.
This is community justice at your doorstep. Every municipality and rural municipality has a Judicial Committee that resolves minor disputes: property boundaries, minor debts, neighborhood conflicts, family disputes. You don\'t need to travel to the district court for everything. The committee mediates first and adjudicates if mediation fails. It\'s faster, cheaper, and more accessible than formal courts.
प्रत्येक स्थानीय तहमा न्यायिक समिति — सानातिना विवाद मिलापत्र र समाधान। अदालतमा नजाई न्याय पाउने।
Access to justice at the local level — dramatically reduces the burden on formal courts.
Judicial committee members are elected politicians, not trained judges — quality and impartiality vary widely.
