Local Budget
The local executive shall present an annual budget to the Village or Municipal Assembly. No expenditure shall be incurred without assembly approval.
Every year, the mayor or rural municipality chair presents a budget to the local assembly — how much money the local government has and how it plans to spend it. Ward representatives debate and can amend it. No spending without assembly approval. This is YOUR tax money being allocated for YOUR ward\'s roads, drinking water, and schools.
