The executive power at local level shall be exercised by the Local Executive. Village Executive headed by Chairman, Municipal Executive headed by Mayor.
💡 Plain Language Explanation
Every municipality and village council has its own executive: Mayors/Chairpersons run the local government with a council. They manage: local roads, local schools and hospitals, birth and death registration, local courts for small disputes, waste management, and local parks.
