Qualifications for Provincial Assembly

To be a member of the Provincial Assembly, a person must be a citizen of Nepal, at least 25 years old, a voter enrolled in the province, and not disqualified by law.

Same basic rules as federal MPs: Nepali citizen, 25+ years old, registered voter in that province, no criminal conviction for moral turpitude, not holding a government job. The voter enrollment requirement means you must actually be registered in the province you want to represent — no carpetbagging.
