Chief Minister
The Provincial Chief appoints as Chief Minister the leader of the parliamentary party commanding a majority in the Provincial Assembly. The CM must win a vote of confidence within 30 days.
The Chief Minister is the province\'s PM — leader of the majority party in the Provincial Assembly. Appointed by the Provincial Chief (governor), the CM must prove majority support within 30 days through a confidence vote. If no party has a majority, the largest party leader gets first shot, then coalition possibilities are explored.
