Constitutional Bench
A Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court shall be formed, consisting of the CJ and at least 4 other judges, to hear disputes relating to constitutional interpretation, jurisdictional conflicts between levels of government, and parliamentary disputes.
The most powerful bench in Nepal: when a constitutional question arises — like \'Can the PM dissolve Parliament?\' or \'Does this law violate fundamental rights?\' — it goes to a special 5-judge Constitutional Bench led by the CJ. This bench settles disputes between federal, provincial, and local governments too. Its decisions shape the meaning of the Constitution itself.
