Original Text

Nepal has a three-tier court system: Supreme Court, High Courts, and District Courts. Specialized courts and judicial bodies may be established by law for specific types of cases.

💡 Plain Language Explanation

Nepal\'s court system has 3 levels: District Courts (every district), High Courts (one per province), and the Supreme Court (Kathmandu). Specialized courts can be created for specific cases like labor disputes. But no court can be created just for ONE specific case — that would be a political weapon.

Good Aspects

Three-tier system gives citizens multiple levels of appeal.

⚠️ Concerns

Remote districts still have poor court infrastructure; justice is physically inaccessible for many.
